Vertical Angles
Congruent Acute Angles
Angle Bisector
The kiwi in this picture represents an angle bisector. The seeds (outlined in blue) represent the angle. The black line in the center of the seeds is the bisector. The bisector splits the kiwi into two equal parts. Kiwis are a delicious fruit that can be found in every grocery store and used in restaurants. You can eat kiwis plain or they can be found in smoothies and lots of desserts. Skew Lines
This desk contains skew lines (outlined in blue) because the two lines are nonparallel in space and don't intersect. Desks are a piece of furniture with a flat or sloped surface and typically with drawers, at which one can read, write, or do other work. Desk are mainly used in office buildings and are a great way for people to have their own personal space to do their work. I took this image on my Iphone at my house.
Segment Bisector
This midfield line of this soccer field is an example of a segment bisector. The midfield line is a segment bisector because the line divides the soccer field into two equal parts. Soccer fields are fields that people play soccer on. These fields are used primarily used for soccer but can also be used for other sports such as, football, lacrosse, and field hockey. Three or more coplanar parallel lines
These blinds show three or more coplanar parallel lines. Parallel lines are lines that do not intersect. Coplanar means to be in the same plane. The lines in purple are all parallel to each other and are contained in one plane. Blinds are a window covering and made out slats of fabric, wood, plastic or metal. Blinds are used on windows in almost all houses and buildings. I took this on my Iphone in the library lab.

Supplementary Angles that are not a linear pair
The picture of these musicians contain a pair of non linear supplementary angles. The angle outlined in green equals 150 degrees and the angle outlined in purple equals 30 degrees. The sum of these two angles add up to 180 degrees, forming a supplementary angle. This picture is of a woman playing a flute. Flutes are musical instruments of the woodwind family. Flutes can be found in orchestras, and concerts. Many people also play the flute for enjoyment. I found this image at: http://www.vagabondjourney.com/2009-1/09-3184-musicians-metro.JPG

Adjacent non-supplementary angles
This picture of an oil pump contains adjacent non supplementary angles (outlined in purple). If the two angles were supplementary then they would have to equal 180 degrees, which these angles do not. They are adjacent because they have a common vertex. If these two angles were adjacent supplementary angles their non-shared sides would form a straight line. Oil pumps are pumps that keeps a supply of oil on moving parts. The oil is then used for things like gasoline, solvents, and electrical generation. Non-congruent alternate interior angles
These noodles are an example of a non-congruent alternate interior angle. Alternate interior angles are pairs of angles on opposite sides of the transversal but inside the two lines. Angle 1 and 2 (outlined in green) are not congruent because there on opposite side of each other. If they were on the same side they would be congruent. Noodles are dough made of wheat, flour, and water that are molded into a variety of shapes and boiled. Noodles are made in households and restaurants all around the world. I took this image on my Iphone at my house.
