Adjacent non-supplementary angles

This picture of an oil pump contains adjacent non supplementary angles (outlined in purple). If the two angles were supplementary then they would have to equal 180 degrees, which these angles do not. They are adjacent because they have a common vertex. If these two angles were adjacent supplementary angles their non-shared sides would form a straight line. Oil pumps are pumps that keeps a supply of oil on moving parts. The oil is then used for things like gasoline,solvents, and electrical generation.
